Sephora Beauty Loves + Holiday Gifting Ideas

Christmas is coming early this year with a special discount at Sephora! Beauty Insider Members can take 15% off their order with code “BIBONUS” from November 16-18. If you’re planning on purchasing hair, makeup, or skincare items before the end of the year, this is the time to get it! If you’re not already a Sephora Beauty Insider Member, you can easily sign up for free to take part in this special offer. Sephora items rarely go on sale so be sure to take advantage of this!

To celebrate this occasion, and because I think it was about time I did this anyways, I decided to create a roundup of all my favourite items at Sephora, including my everyday makeup, beauty, skincare, hair and also some gifting ideas for the coming season!

One more thing before we jump in, you can also take the discounts even further by signing up for Ebates to get cash back at Sephora and lots of your other fav stores! It’s free and easy to use. I get a good $100 back every quarter for doing what I do best anyways... aka shop lol ;) Sign up here: https://www.ebates.com/r/GWENIX?eeid=28187

Pretty much all of my go-to makeup is from Sephora. It’s taken my YEARS to find all of my holy grail products but now I am so happy with my makeup routine and the products I use. Below are all of my essentials!

The Perfect Base

Urban Decay Colour Correcting Fluid: A life saver. Instead of applying one million layers of concealer on those pesky under eye bags and that pimple on your skin, you just need a small dab of this stuff to colour correct, and then apply your foundation. Easy-peasy clear skin without feeling cakey! I use the green colour to correct any redness and acne, the peach colour for my dark under-eye circles, and then the pink colour to brighten under my eyes.

Fenty Beauty Foundation: My favourite foundation OF ALL TIME. Its the perfect light coverage foundation, and it’s buildable too in areas that you might need it. It blends easily and lasts all day. It is a little drying though (but this is coming from someone with chronically dry skin), so just make sure to properly hydrate your skin before application. Otherwise, I’m pretty certain you’ll love this too. For reference, I’m a shade 190.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powders: I love the original for all over setting of my makeup. The products lasts ages and ensures my makeup will stay in place and last all day. I'm currently also loving the new "Glow" version of this product. It has tiny little sparkles throughout that add the prettiest glow to your skin! It's not over the top though, the glitter is really subtle and glowly looking. Soooo pretty!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in "Celebrated": Been using this blush religiously for over a year now, and the product still hasn't run out! Such a beautiful colour, easy to use and blend, and lasts all day. Only good things to say about this one.

Fenty Killawatt Highlighter in "Mean Money" and "Hu$tla Baby": THE BEST HIGHLIGHTER ON THE PLANET. I've bought this for basically everyone in my life and have repurchased many times. If you have not tried this yet, get your hands on it ASAP. You won't regret it. I promise.

Eye Essentials

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in "Eden": I've been using this product for almost ten years, and my love for it never fades. I love the Eden shade as it helps to conceal some of the veins and discolouration on my eyelids, along with acting as a primer so that my eyeshadow is super pigmented and lasts all day.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in "Sin": Another fav. I just adore the colour. It's a beautiful glittery link pink. Wear it on its own for a quick look, or layer with your fav eyeshadows.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: My all time favourite mascara. Adds volume and length! Honourable mention is the Tarte Tarteist Mascara.

Charlotte Tilbury Feline Flick Eyeliner: I'm not a huge eyeliner person, I find it doesn't really suit me very well, but it's always good to do on occasion or for certain looks that I'm going for. When I do go for eyeliner, it's always this one. It's easy to apply, lasts all day, and is super pigmented.

Lip Loves

It’s no secret that my go-to lip colour is Kylie Cosmetics “Candy K” Liquid Lipstick, but Sephora still have some of my other fav lip products!

Charlotte Tilbury “Pillow Talk” Lipstick and Lipliner: An absolutely stunning nudey pink colour. It lasts well and is super smooth and soft on the lips. The packaging is also really luxurious and would make for a lovely gift too!

Charlotte Tilbury "Red Carpet Red" Lipstick: My current go-to red lippie!

Fenty Gloss Bomb: My favourite lip gloss ever, and it goes with every skin tone!

Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in "Goals": Such a gorgeous nude-pink gloss, and one of my favs.

BITE Beauty Agave Lip Scrub: A new addition to my collection but I’m obsessed. I really love how thick and moisturizing the product is. It makes it really easy to scrub my lips without sugar pieces going everywhere. And then I’m left with smooth lips that are also mega hydrated. Really love this thing. Also loving the Agave Lip Balm too!

Hair Holy Grails

T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand: First of all, how damn cute is this? White and rose gold, like yes please! But on another note, this is actually a bomb ass hair tool. It comes with three different heads that you can attach for different styles of curls. My go-to is the thickest barrel for easy loose curls, but I also love using the other barrels to create different hair looks. This would make an unreal gift too!

Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray: One of my favourite leave in hair conditioners. I love to spray this onto the ends of my hair and then brush it through for soft, smooth and easy to style hair!

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil: I absolutely LOVE hair oil. This is like the natural version of Moroccan Oil. It not only makes your hair sleek and smooth, but the ingredients also work to improve the health of your hair over time. And a little goes a long way, so it will last you ages.

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask: One of my favourite hair masks at the moment. Would for sure recommend.

Kopari Coconut Melt: Basically coconut oil but a hair mask, so it's a lot easier to apply and use and leaves your hair feeling fresh and smooth. Love!

Holiday Gifting Ideas: Makeup Under $50

NARS Little Fetishes Orgasm Lip and Blush Set ($32): I recently learned that NARS is actually a cruelty free brand! I’m not sure why I always assumed otherwise, but now I’m super excited to start trying out some of their products. I’ve been eyeing this gift set lately, and am thinking of buying one or two as gifts during the holiday season. I know I’d be pumped if I opened this on Christmas morning!

Fenty Bomb Beauty Set ($28): If you’ve seen any of my makeup videos you’ll likely know that I’m addicted to Fenty Beauty and especially obsessed with their highlighter. I’ve given a LOT of them as gifts over the last year. While perusing Sephora I came across this little set with my favourite highlighter and gloss! And it’s only $25! A perfect little gift or stocking stuffer. Will be buying lots of these.

BECCA Lip Icing Glow Gloss Kit ($35): A limited-edition cruelty-free set created in collaboration with Chrissy Teigen, featuring four brand-new, delicious lip gloss shades. Smells like vanilla heaven, has the pigment of a liquid lipstick, and nourishing benefits of a lip balm.

BECCA Glow on the Go Highlighter Set ($24): Such a beautiful duo featuring BECCA’s Shimmering highlighter and gloss in travel-friendly sizes.

Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray ($40): My go-to makeup setting spray. I always spritz this on after I'm done applying my makeup and need it to last all day/night. If someone if your life loves makeup as much as I do, they'll totally love this beauty essential.

Holiday Gifting Ideas: Beauty/Skincare Under $50

Josie Maran Hair Oil Set ($25): My favourite argan hair oil in an adorable mini duo set! Perfect stocking stuffer, secret santa, or add on prezzie for any hair lover in your life.

Jack Black The Fresh Man ($29): The perfect gift to the man in your life. Jack Black is a totally cruelty free brand, and their products are holy grails. I'm for sure getting my boyfriend this set for Christmas! He suffers with dry skin (as everyone in Canada during the winter does lol) so this is the perfect little skincare set for him! If your man regularly shaves his beard, I'd also recommend the Jack Black Shave Essentials which comes with their famous shaving cream and SPF moisturizer.

Herbivore Self Love Bath + Body Ritual Kit ($45): Infuse your bath and body routine with self-love and hydration with this Herbivore kit. This cruelty free set has the prettiest packaging, and contains three of their most popular products: Coco Rose Body Polish, Rose Quartz Illuminating Body Oil and Coconut Milk Bath Soap. If someone in your life loves to treat themselves to a relaxing bath, this is the gift for them.

Kopari Beauty Besties ($50): I've been seeing more and more posts about Kopari over the internet lately, and have been super curious to try the brand out. This awesome gift set features all of their most popular products and is a great way to try them all out! (Plus, this is a value set so you save $26!)

Kopari Kiss Me Under The Mistletoe ($24): One of the most talked about Kopari product is the Lip Glossy, so this adorable (such cute packaging!) duo features that and a lip scrub (and who doesn't need lip scrubs during the dry winter season?)

Juice Beauty Best of Juice Set ($60): I'm a huge fan of Juice Beauty and this is an amazing value for money ($147 value!) set featuring lots of their most popular skincare products.

BITE Beauty Sweet Treats Agave Lip Care Set ($15): The BITE Beauty Agave Lip Scrub is one of my all time favourite lip scrubs. It's a new find, but I'm absolutely in love. And this lip care set not only has the cutest gift packaging, but it contains that along with the Agave Lip Balm and Mask.

Holiday Gifting Ideas: $50+

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette: Okay but you GUYS. Just look at these colours. I’ve never seen an eyeshadow palette that so perfectly fit me and what I’d want to wear. I’m not much of an eyeshadow palette kind of girl, I’m usually happy to just have one palette at a time. But now I’m dreaming of this one and may have to treat myself very soon to it.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette: If you've been around the online beauty community for a while, you'll have heard lots of people talking about the Hourglass Ambient Light Palette. This limited edition palette full of six new shades of gorgeous highlighter has received rave reviews, as have their original palette. And, not only is Hourglass cruelty free, but they're one of the first mainstream brands I've heard of to go fully vegan! I don't think they're 100% vegan yet, but they've pledged to be by 2020. If that isn't a brand worth supporting, then I don't know what is. P.S. this particular palette is vegan, AND five percent of profits from this 100-percent vegan and cruelty-free palette will go to support the Nonhuman Rights Project! Yay :)

Charlotte Tilbury Bar Of Gold Highlighting Palette: Charlotte Tilbury is another one of my favourite cruelty free beauty brands, and everything from CT make for amazing gifts because the packaging is SO luxurious. And this highlighting palette is something else, SO BEAUTIFUL.

Philosophy's Guide To Warm and Cozy: This is the cutest festive gift set featuring Philosophy's fan-favourites, including skincare goodies and their famous shampoo/bubble bath all in one in three delicious scents! Basically a spa in a box.

Pinrose Perfume Style Kit: I’ve been hearing lots about the brand Pinrose lately, and this little set is the perfect way to try out all of their scents and choose your favourite! Also great size mini’s to throw in your purse on the go or when travelling. For sure giving one of these as a gift this year!

Drunk Elephant Inspector Drunk Night Kit: A set with everything you need for your nighttime skincare routine, including a jelly cleanser, eye cream, hydration serum, glycolic acid serum and night cream. This set is a great way to try out some of the most popular items by the Drunk Elephant brand, which is of course cruelty free, and a supporter of IEF (International Elephant Foundation)!

T3 Cura Hair Dryer or Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer: Everybody needs a good hair dryer. For YEARS, I had a seriously crappy hair dryer, and I didn't even realize it. Once I finally upgraded to a high quality one, drying my hair in the morning was cut significantly down. Such a life saver! And this new hair dryer? Ya, I got that for Christmas, by far one of my fav gifts! So if you're looking for a bigger gift for your pal or loved one, then this is such a great idea!

Dyson Airwrap Styler: THIS IS THE BEST GIFT IDEA EVER. Sure, its pricy. But if it's something you can afford, I know whoever receives this will be so happy. It's for sure on the top of my holiday wish list. Basically, if you've not heard of Dyson's new Airwrap Styler allows you to curl, wave, smooth, and dry your hair with no extreme heat. Do I need to say more?

Briogeo Crystal Powers Hair Repair Vault: Briogeo is one of my favourite cruelty free haircare brands at Sephora, and this is the ultimate holiday haircare set that includes my favourite Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask and lots of other goodies anyone would love to try! It's also a great deal, saving you about $100 by purchasing the set instead of individuals.
